I look forward to the month before weddings. This is the time we get to chat or email and discuss the big wedding day details and all your wedding photography requirements. Whether that be details that hold special memories you want recorded, extra family members photographed during the formals, etc. For Codie and Zac's Geelong wedding, their photography wedding requirements was something a little extra special....they were expecting a baby and they were hoping to have some maternity photographs during their portrait session. I was delighted and felt an additional honour not only to be their Geelong Wedding Photographer but also their maternity photographer.
I am a little partial to country weddings, they often always offer something unique to the couple and during summer, you are almost guaranteed beautiful sunsets. The drive to Geelong for weddings, is a glorious drive through the countryside and one I always enjoy. It was not long after arriving at Codie and Zac's Geelong wedding location, that I was completely amazed at the amount of effort they had gone to in order to transform their backyard, into a beautiful country wedding location. The ceremony was to be held under their beautiful willow tree surrounded by close friends and family. The reception was just over the fence, where open fields acted as the backdrop. As the sun set guests enjoyed food from the food van, drinks from the bar, sitting on hale bales, under the fairy lights, listening to live music...it was a perfect Geelong country wedding. Congratulations to you both and I wish you all the happiness for not only your marriage, but for the adventure of parenthood that lays ahead.
