Vincent Casey is a designer and printmaker living in Central Victoria. Originally from Ireland, Vincent has taken part in a number of individual, joint and group exhibitions in Ireland, Melbourne and London. Since moving to Newstead, Vincent has been refining and honing his printing and painting techniques.
Transmissions is a series of screen prints and painting on wood, using circles and loops as a primary motif. Each of these pieces aim to capture a snapshot of a set of forms in movement, all the while hiding and revealing various stages of transformation. The work actively engages with instability, exploring the boundaries of vision and perception.
