The incomparable beauty of country weddings x
I love to meet my couples before their wedding day. It gives us a chance to get to know each other a little and for them to feel comfortable with me hanging out with them on their most important day of their lives. Meeting Tess and her gorgeous mum for coffee in Daylesford was the perfect chance to talk about their country wedding day plans at Aghadore Estate. Aghadore Estate is a heritage listed homestead only 20kms from Daylesford. Daylesford is a very popular destination for weddings and after looking through Tess and Nicks photos, I am sure you can see why. Unfortunately Aghadore Estate is no longer offering weddings but there are many country wedding venues around Daylesford that offer an equally beautiful experience. For the ultimate country wedding similar to Aghadore Estate, I would suggest taking a look at Quirindi Stables.
Country weddings offer a relaxed feel to your day. Wedding ceremonies are often on the same location and there is much more freedom when putting your own creative touches to your day. Tess and Nick are dairy farmers, so having cows on the scene was an obvious choice:) My favourite aspect of weddings in the country are the amazing sunsets you get to witness, making the golden hour portraits session spectacular. Tess and Nick are such a fun couple and I had a truely wonderful day with them. For me, choosing to celebrate your wedding in the country is a no-brainer.
Thank you x
