I have never felt more welcome, then I have at Brendan and Dee's wedding. These two lovelies were a delight to spend the day with and by the end of the evening, I felt more like a friend then a photographer. They chose their wedding location and vendors with the upmost care and attention, making it feel like we had all just come together as old friends.
Such a beautiful couple, I was able to catch up for coffee before their wedding and get to know them a little. From that moment, I knew we were going to get along well. They have a hilarious sense of humour, and they both adore one another and their families.
They chose a country destination, for both ceremony and reception. And what better place then to have it at, but Providence Gully. A true country retreat, that is cared for by the owner and gorgeous, Clare. She goes above and beyond to cater for her guests, so you would feel right at home at her property amongst the gum trees.
The ceremony took place amongst the olive grove and was performed by Ballarat celebrant, Sharon Bryne. It was perfect to say the least, and I would highly reccomend having Sharon perform your ceremony too. The reception was located in the restored barn, allowing guest to mingle inside and out on the patio. Drinks, games, pizza, and live music played, whilst we snuck out for some sunset portraits. As the sun set, the speeches began, delighting the crowds with laughter and even some tears. Later followed by dancing the night away, before being picked up by bus to be delivered home - how awesome is that!
It is a little sad, leaving the couple after sharing with them, their very special day. However, with Brendan and Dee we would no doubt be catching up again and hopefully again, for many many more laughs. I love you guys and wish you the absolute best for a bright and happy future together.
